Title: Sorrow
Author: John Lawson
Publisher: Drollerie Press
Genre: Fantasy

From the pen of talented author John Lawson comes Sorrow, something different in the world of fantasy that also includes murder and mystery. Any mystery fan would enjoy this tale in trying to identify the killer who strikes without warning and whose killings seem to have a religious significance. This is an opportunity to try fantasy that is not the standard romance of the genre.

In a world that he is totally unfamiliar with, Phindol is forced to seek help in his travels homeward. This instance, he realizes too late that he has misjudged the help he accepts. These so-called guards are intent on robbing him.

He is possessed of a secret among his luggage called the Splinter, a mysterious weapon and very dangerous to those who handle it, as Phindol could tell anyone.

Phindol arrives at a house where he is to stay as hostage and here he meets another hostage, Faina child woman whose passion is to dance. It is in this house the Archbishop Tuggub is murdered and to this house where an investigator is sent to resolve his murder.

A complex tale with several interesting characters vying for your attention, each determined to lead his or her own life as much as they are permitted. You will enjoy meeting them and keep reading to see how this fun tale ends. You will be looking for other books by this creative author. Enjoy. I sure did.
